The third and final round robin matches in Group B will be played on Thursday at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals with two semi-final spots up for grabs
Second up is No. 5 seed Andy Murray against No. 7 seed David Ferrer. Ferrer leads the head-tohead,3-1, posting each of his wins on clay, including twice this year in straight sets (63 64 in Rome and 75 64 in Madrid). Ferrer has yet to win a set in two matches so far here, while Murray has one win (straight sets) and one loss (also straight sets). Murray's win over Ferrer came in their only hard court meeting in Toronto in 2006
Both Murray and Ferrer have a shot of qualifying for the semi-finals, although Ferrer's shot is much more of a longshot, given he lost his first two matches in straight sets. If Federer beats Soderling,Murray can qualify by beating Ferrer; if Federer loses to Soderling, Soderling will qualify if Ferrer beats Murray.
